On the 11th March 2017 the ELANATION team collaborated with the Manly Warringah Little Athletics Club down at the Narrabeen Australian Institute of Sport. The day was a huge success with all Little A members and parents learning how the ETURBO encourages a healthy physical-digital play experience for families.
The day was a celebration for the Manly Warringah families of Little A’s. Their hard work throughout the season was coming to an end and it was time to reflect on their achievements and celebrate. The kids were definitely celebrating in style, they came dressed up in their favourite characters, played on jumping castles, got their face painted all while testing out the ETURBO.
ETURBO Kid testimonials from the day.“This is so cool. I’m going to use my birthday money to buy one”. “I just ran around the Athletics field and got 1200 steps up”. “Check out my new Jam band, so awesome”. “I like my new Jet band mixed with the Neon ETURBO”.
The kids quickly learnt the cool features of the ETURBO and how it connected to the ELANATION reward driven Virtual World. Amazed that they could be rewarded with Aussie Athlete video content and so much more they reached out their Birthday money and pocket money to purchase the ETURBO. They were sold!
Speaking with the parents was another positive experience. We found that parents concerns were mainly over management of digital time, the safety of their children whilst on technology and now that Little Athletics was coming to an end, how do we manage their daily exercise. This is something we hear often. How do families create a healthy balance of physical-digital play without becoming a nag?
This is why ELANATION has researched the family unit and the dynamics surrounding technology, health and fitness. Our dedicated team have made sure our product offerings instill healthy habits in children’s daily routine, and as you can see, the results speak for themselves. “My kids now want to walk to and from school” “We now walk the dog together as a family so my children can get their steps up. We then watch the video rewards together as a family, and then head to the park to test them out”. Parents of ETURBO.
We’d like to say a special thank you to Vicki Busse and the rest of the volunteers for all their amazing efforts on the day and throughout the entire season.
