Jake Fraser-McGurk has been deemed the young Australian player to watch in 2020. At just 17 years of age, Jake has already shown a promising future as he made his first-class debut in November 2019, for Victoria in the 2019–20 Sheffield Shield season. He made his List A debut on 17 November 2019, for Victoria in the 2019–20 Marsh One-Day Cup, where he scored half a century on both his first-class and List A debut.

In December 2019, he was named in Australia’s squad for the 2020 Under-19 Cricket World Cup. But unfortunately, he had to leave the tournament early, after being scratched by a monkey during a team trip to a nature reserve. Jake looks forward to getting back on the field as soon as possible and representing his country.
